Raychem offers high-quality 22kV outdoor termination kits (primarily the EPKT and HVT series) that use heat-shrinkable technology designed for durable performance in exposed environments. These kits feature UV-resistant, anti-tracking materials and integrated rain skirts. 

• Heat-Shrinkable Material: All components are supplied in an expanded state and shrink effectively when heat is applied, creating a reliable and consistent seal.
• Environmental Resistance: Features anti-tracking, erosion, and UV-resistant insulating materials, making them suitable for all outdoor climate conditions. Rain skirts are included to increase creepage distance and prevent tracking during wet conditions.
• Electrical Stress Control: The kits incorporate a sophisticated stress control system (often ceramic-based) to manage the electric field at the cable screen interruption, ensuring long-term operational reliability.
• Material: Components are made from cross-linked polyolefin and include a tin-plated copper earthing braid.
• Compatibility: Suitable for use with XLPE (Cross-linked polyethylene) power cables and designed to work with both crimp and mechanical lugs.
